Mrs B on her son having completed the KS4 holiday online training: “He has gained so much from the course and is excited to use all of the new skills that he has learnt. He has adopted many changes but has also reflected on what he already does well. Thank you once again for giving him the ability to become more confident and resilient in his learning.”
Careers Leader following online delivery to Y10’s: “Overall a massive thumbs up and we’d love to have you back if you’re happy to work with us again – we will be in touch!”
Careers Leader following online delivery to Y7’s: “Thanks so much for yesterday, I’ve had some really great feedback from a member of staff who said the kids really enjoyed it. The teacher especially liked the way you praised the children which made a massive difference and picked them up. He said they loved the activities too and the videos were interesting and engaging”.
“Thank you for delivering the sessions this morning, the feedback I have received has also been positive and students really enjoyed the interactive nature of the session. I will definitely be in touch with future opportunities” – Mrs R Rowlands – Careers Lead – Tarporley High School
“Thank you so much for the deliveries you have done over the past 2 days remotely and in school. Feedback has been good and we no doubt will be in touch next academic year” – Mrs Viv Madden – Careers Advisor and Sixth Form administrator – Epping St Johns CofE School
“Thank you so much for your time yesterday, what a fab session! It was so great to see the students participating as well, I think they gained a lot from it! We’d love to work with you again in the future. I’m just planning for the next academic year and will be in touch in September time if that’s okay to arrange some dates with you” – Mrs Jemma Cheviot – Careers Team Leader – Richard Taunton Sixth Form College
“Thank you so much for delivering the session today, the students were well engaged and have gained a lot of knowledge about employability skills. I will also be posting on twitter later today and will be tagging yourselves” – Ms Naznin Patel – Raising Aspirations Coordinator – Sharples School
“Thanks so much for your delivery of the Boost Life Skills courses. We very much appreciate the time and effort that went into it. The students were pleased of the opportunity and managed to take away some skills and information which will prepare them for the 6th Form. I will now email the certificates of completion to all the students. Many thanks for your support and professionalism” – Eugenia Mmireku – Careers Adviser – Bentley Wood School
“Richard, I have been really impressed with the sessions. I have loved how they have worked, the activity logs, the support sheets…brilliant. Your live input and the engagement from the students has been fantastic – they have really enjoyed it” Mrs K Millmore-Davies, Careers Leader, Priory School
“I wanted to share with you a virtual training session we recently booked for our Year 7 students (but which could just as easily have been tailored for any year group). We had struggled to find ‘stand alone’ virtual sessions which would work for a whole year group and which we could have tailored to meet our requirements. Richard Fawdry and BOOST was able to deliver exactly what we wanted – the online sessions were interactive and fast paced, the students really engaged well and enjoyed them, I know, because I was logged in too. In addition to the online sessions, students received a booklet to keep and also a certificate of participation. – Mrs J Harrison-Henry, Careers Leader, Arete Learning Trust, Stokesley School
“The content of the sessions was thought provoking and engaging. It was specifically designed to relate to the year group it was delivered to and encouraged students to think not only about their own levels of self-motivation but those which would be required for jobs they may wish to apply for in the future. Students were keen to give their answers to the questions posed and enjoyed the chance to give their input. I feel that this session has caused students to think more about organising themselves and pushing through setbacks to achieve their goals. It has also given them a greater understanding of the role of failure in the journey to success” – Miss R Carter, CEIAG and Enterprise Officer, United Endeavour Trust
“I have given your details to the Careers and Enterprise Company who work with schools across the country to help increase the quality of their careers programme so I’m sure they will add that to their database and tell other schools” – Miss R Carter, CEIAG and Enterprise Officer, United Endeavour Trust
