A careers strategy, split across key stages or year groups is a complex programme to deliver, requiring buy-in from teachers and students, driven by innovative and interesting content. The content of each school, academy and college careers strategy differs depending on their resources, experience and connections. It’s very common to have gaps – a lesson that needs to be filled with content, an assembly that needs to be delivered, a ½ day to focus on pupil premium cohort, a day of training for a year group…
BOOST have amalgamated hundreds of careers strategies into a simple view by key stage in order to demonstrate how we can support you. On the following 3 slides, BOOST can support the Careers Leader / organisation / student of those items in red by delivering the training of their employability skills either onsite or via online. The table on each page is a realistic view of the content within the majority of schools, academies and colleges for each key stage, the activities which allow the students to progress towards a career path.
