BOOST Life Skills Trainers

BOOST Life Skills have a number of freelance trainers working across our network area.

BOOST Life Skills Trainers responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and delivering training of basic soft skills, advanced soft skills and interview preparation courses to groups of 8-15 attendees.
  • Maintaining a professional training environment and classroom management with a high standard of teaching, learning and assessment at all times.
  • Delivering innovative training sessions using a variety of teaching styles and creativity to keep young minds interested and inspired.
  • Assessing and evaluating attendee feedback to consider improvements for the future.

BOOST Life Skills Trainers skills and experience include:

  • Background in preparing and delivering training courses.
  • Experience in having worked in a business or organisational environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Being comfortable working with a cross-section of young attendees and have the drive and enthusiasm to support our young attendees to succeed.
  • Being innovative and creative in the delivery of courses and demonstrate a passion for delivering to a high standard.
  • Acting as a role model for learners and building strong relationships with attendees and parents/carers.
  • Documented DBS check and Safeguarding policy agreement.
  • A minimum of 2 A-levels or an equivalent diploma.
  • GCSE English language at a minimum of a grade B.
